Where's Smitty? They had some kind of small kids' Activity thing going on in the dining hall last year, artsy-craftsy stuff or something.
And keep us posted about the Trick or Treat thing possibility. I could festively wrap some small bags of jerky to pass out to the kids. (No-fair any adults trying to put on a costume and pretend to be a kid!)

I might have trouble finding enough "trunks", but I could scare up some Treats for sure. This is a cool idea!
Maybe plan it immediately after the potluck dinner just before it gets dark.
As far as the pumpkin decorating if folks could BYO pumpkins, set something up in the dining hall in the afternoon on Saturday. Maybe bring a few extra pumpkins if folks forget theirs. Has anyone ever seen pumpkins growing or for sale on KI?

Since Ted got the ball rolling on this, he should help make it happen. I'm sure that Smittie would jump in, and any other families with kids (or even without kids) should raise their hands to get this plan in effect. It would be really fun, and our 4-H hosts would LOVE this concept I think! It would look real good on Leakoil's "Permanent Record" with our 4-H Hosts! :)
