Put the new needle valves yesterday and drove all day today. Took the tops off of the carbs and they were dry were they were previously soaked with gas. I'm talking about the gasket that goes imbetween the top portion. No smell of gas in the oil. I'm not holding my breath though but so far so good. Thanks fellas for the help.No smoke as well :D

Doing some interior remodeling. Thanks Bill and Aaron for donating some pieces to me. Much appreciated! I used Por-15 for the first coat and spray sound deadener over top of that. Then sound deadener sheets over the engine bay and in the wall areas. I picked up a beat 72 camper with complete interior which is going in my bus. Nick's friend Jerod has the carcus and he is going to attempt to save it ( very crusty!) I have a bunch of doors and stuff I'm going to give to him. Jerod is 19 and works as a mechanic, he also needs a pop top .Anyway here is some pics of what I'm up to.

I filled the numerous holes above the belt line and I'm painting it with white oil base . First coat of paint is on as of this morning and it takes 24 hours to dry.

Yeppers! I've always wanted the correct period cabinetry. I have a child's cot for the front to stow gear. Just have to figure out were to screw the brackets in on the front pillars. All Good is going to be closer to home, ya! Gotta love Buckeye Lake! Just throwing this pic in. NICK rebuilding his first motor. He has it all tore down and ready for reassembly.
