Thanks guys. I will take a closer look at it. I am heading to Jim's this weekend so maybe I will find something there.

Update: I changed out the coupler for the one purchased at Jim’s. The coupler we installed from WW looked fine but thought I’d try it regardless. Same results.
Did a couple of tests with it running up on jack stands and shifting it without the shift rod linkage to eliminate that as a variable. It seemed to be Ok but hard to tell. The next attempt was to loosen all connections of the transmission to the frame and engine to see if we could get a better alignment to the front link arm. We wiggled a minor amount. Connected everything back together and took it for a ride. Same results.
So for now, I am going to leave it alone. When or if I drive it I will have to manually keep 4th gear engaged. At the end of the day I have no other option but to tear it down again to see what’s going on. That will be a winter project.
Thanks to those who have helped trying to troubleshoot this with me. A lot of time has gone into the issue, much appreciated.

While the transmission situation is still getting situated, I figured I’d go ahead and finish up the interior of the bus. Cleaning up overspray from the painter and replacing curtain tie backs. That should be the final touches that I am doing on the interior. I have some damaged wood on the ceiling that I am still deciding if I want to mess with or not.

Getting down to the details.
New bedding from a dear friend of mine, a phone mount that won’t damage the dash and identification on the front nose for fun.

Here’s the website if you’re interested. They are very customizable. It was fun playing with it.

Awesome and incredible job Marla. It's great watching the transformation.

Thanks Rick!
Unfortunately, we will be doing this all again this winter. The transmission will need to go back for another round. I started this past weekend disconnecting the electrical, draining gear oil and gas. I got it up on stands and removed the rear wheels. I learned a few things last winter, so I am hoping to improve some things while the engine and transmission are out.
Here we go again!
