Can't make it, going to Jim's Customs spring swap meet, and I'm already learning too much about split bus transaxle work, (night school)

It was a good weekend to get some work done.

Friday we got the solid axle boots installed. The key is to flip them inside out, boil water and get them nice and warm. With the right screw drivers, only Chuck has these, they go over the top of the flange no problem.

Saturday we got the transmission mostly installed. We had a small but mighty crew. Thanks for the help Matt and Rick. Bruce followed through with supervision. Even Pam jumped in to give a hand.

Yesterday Ricky came back out to the shop and we got the engine mounted back in. Pam helped bleed the brake lines. After a few minutes she needed to be reminded which is the clutch vs brake pedal. Once we got that figured out it was smooth sailing.

I just need to go through the gas lines, accelerator cable and electrical connections to the engine. We are getting close to being back down on all 4 wheels again.
