Sounds like you have the "spark" side of combustion right. Now look at "fuel" side. Would be my guess. Make sure it is getting fuel.

cool Ron that sounds lodgical,I'll do that next,Just getting driven crazy over this < Ive been trying to start this motor for a week and nothing. The two major things Ive changed are the fuel pump wiring(double relay from German Supply). The fuel pump makes noise when I try to crank it over so I assume it's working. And well I guess its just one thing.Maybe I'll check over all the wiring.I need to check if I have spark also , didn't do that either. So I havent tried everything yet. :x

I would try starter fluid. If it fires up and stalls in a second you know it is not getting fuel. I have never heard of starter fluid being a problem but I am no expert.

It's only a problem if you use it for extended periods. It tends to dry the oil from the cylinder walls and could cause scoring. Most of the newer brands have a lubricant added. That's what I would use - read the label.

Okeydoke I'll try starter fluid. To check for spark do I pull the plug wire off #1 plug , turn the key to the first position and turn the motor with a wrench till the rotor hits were #1 shoud fire , and hold it close to some metal? Thanks for all the advice,I was going a little nuts yesterday but calmed down. :D

OK no spark! I was using jumper cables so I pulled the battery to charge. When I use the static timing light on the coil it works so I would amagine theres power going to the coil(from the alternator/starter).I tried another coil just to check.I'm reading the idiot book now,but if anyone knows what to look for that would be great.peace!
